Is PG&E Not Spending Enough on Maintenance?

The CPUC did report that PG&E was not spending enough on maintenance. The safety staff, the division is completely understaffed with only 30 employees. Because of that, they never go out in the field and have to trust what PG&E tells them. It's almost as if when you starve government, it can create safety issues.
