i was wondering if there was anything in stoicism that that is mystical or maybe isn't like cold and rational. There are definitely mystical aspects to stoicism i mean you know it depends how you define mysticism but from a modern perspective almost any ancient philosophy is going to seem kind of mystical innocence. Having a rational philosophy like stoicism gives us a way of processing stuff like that so that we may have these metaphysical mind-expanding eye-opening experiences, he says.
