Human existence is fundamentally based on these kind of inferences about people. We're much better at making inferences ou people if we know them well, right? So i can kind of infer things about m my mother, what she's thinking, or what how she's feeling,. That i wouldn't be able to infer from a total stranger. And that inference, even if it's 70% accurate at a population level, is also never going to be reapplicable down to the individual level, right? Thisis called, is clled the ecological fallacy in statistics.
