Christianbeckwith's new podcast is called 90 pound Rucksack. It tells the story of a fellow who came here to climb in 1939 named John McCown. He ended up dropping out of law school and then listening with the 10th Mountain Division, which all these guys did. And traces his rise through the ranks as he became,. at the end he was a Lieutenant Colonel because he not only instructed all the troops, both at Camp Hale and also in Seneca Rocks - where he was teaching many troops out at the art of assault climbing.
