The Missing Salvation by 18 Inches
Many people miss salvation by 18 inches, the distance between their head and their heart. If you've never been part of the Christian tradition, it may be a completely unintelligible statement. But what it means or what it expresses is the idea that it's to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It also expresses a kind of judgment on supposed Christians who might think of themselves as Christians but aren't because they focus too much on ritual observance.
