Faith Not Works, Faith Not Buffing

Faith not works, faith not boasting. To him who works, the wages are not counted as grace, but as debt. The entire logic of paul's argumentation would be completely incoherent had he believed that words could merit justification. I cannot imagine them making this consistent argument. They really just don't deal well with the text. You have to import all sorts of things that simply are not there into the text in order to get that out of it. Not imputed righteousness.
