How Did You Move From Memory to Imperative Attitude?
In the 19 eighties there was a recognition that there might be another form of memory. The data came from amnesic patients, and even ordinary people who were not amnesics. And it showed that there is stuff that gets laid down in our brain through our experiences that we may have no recollection of. Eriksen: We now recognise implicit attitudes as being more important than explicit memories.
