The Perfect Balance Between Capitalism and Communism
I think in this context, we'd be better off setting some sort of Marxian understanding of communism on one side and anarchy on the other. Roughly what we're picturing is on one extreme, individuals making decisions for themselves with no coercion. On the other extreme, a centralized authority making decisions for people, and there's no individual decision making at all. And as you say, neither extreme has ever existed or will ever exist.
