The Failure of Subject Associations in Mathematics Education

Teachers' voice has been systematically quashed over the years. Maths Hub program, 35 Maths Hubs that we have at the moment are of varying quality. I don't see maths teachers feeling they're expected to be part of a professional learning network. There's no real system-wise strategic leadership of that though. Most CPD that happens in England is generic. And it's about behavior problems and policies and dictates. Yet what makes a difference is subject-specific CPD and you hardly ever see it.
