Is There a Lull in Pedophilia?

Was there a lull, you sort of as we're talking about this period in the 70s, it doesn't go away. Is that because of AIDS? What did it go away? Was there some like cold water that was was thrown on some of this intellectual work during that time period and it's gradually been making a comeback or has it basically just been here this whole time. But if looking back, like in this timeline, there's always been someone writing about the same thing about tying pedophilia to the gay rights movement. They do that because they want to advocate. They want the civil rights. Right.
