We only sort of dethrone men when we think of them as weak. That's what's so perverse about masculinity in our culture, why it's so horrible for men because it doesn't matter. You look at someone like Trump and he's still powerful somehow. And then you imagine him as a woman, and that's an impossible fantasy. I've been on the receiving end of that so many times. Every time I've gotten too close to exposing a huge problem or a huge corporation or a hugely dangerous individual, something coincidentally wild happens to my reputation,. suddenly some mad rumours and lies start spreading about me. It's sad is that the public are just all too quick to eat
