Is the Hydrogen Market a Good Place to Start?
The hydrogen market is not actually a market. It's typically a biolateral or unilateral purchase arrangement. We're exploring those opportunities, but i would say the answer right now isn't obvious. The pressures to decarbonize those industries are not as severe as they are in other use cases and applications. To put a scale on that opportunity, globaly, we are talking about tens of terrawats of equivalent generating capacity for the conversion to chemical form. That's where hydrogen, i think, can play, and probably should play.
