The Importance of Newness in Presentations

I think it's very easy for people to cling to cliches or how's everybody doing? They just kind of go with what they've seen other people do. Neuroscientists told me the brain always looks for something new, surprising and delicious. You always have to present information in a way that's shocking or surprising or unexpected.
