Brain Science Podcast Review - The Brain From the Inside Out
Yuri Busaki's new book, The Brain from the Inside Out, is a challenging and thought-provoking book that will reward anyone who reads it with fascinating new ideas. He argues that the brain has already generated numerous patterns, and what the newborn has to do is begin to match these patterns with its experience of the world. In an upcoming episode, I hope to talk with George Northoff about his book, The Spontaneous Brain, from the mind body to the world body problem. We will be discussing the empirical evidence in more detail, as well as how these discoveries could impact our understanding of how the brain generates consciousness.
