The Role of Personality Cults in Fascism

I know that at least several definitions of fascism include an element of a strong personality who claims to embody the identity of the vulk and then represent them. Is that fundamental to fascist movements like some embodying personality? I would say it's likely fundamental though you can easily find instances that might challenge that that universality. We want people to embody the heroism that sort of makes emotionally salient the points that they want to make so if they argument is about strength and violence why not have a leader that rules through strength and violence particularly if he's one of yours right?"
