How to Promote Behavioural Change

The most dangerous thing I think we can do is to then take that lens and impose it upon other people. Like I'm going for a run, come with me, just do it. That's a shocking way of trying to promote behavioural change. Instead what we should be doing is why don't you want to go for a run? We saw their behaviour drastically change through the simple redesign and addition of shade in their local surroundings. Sometimes these big shifts in behaviour can happen in the most subtle ways but we have to first and foremost pay attention to them at the scale of an individual in an environment.
