The Importance of Grief
Grief is the provenance of finite interdependent social creatures like ourselves. In order to orient ourselves normatively and evaluatively in the world, we incorporate things outside of ourselves into our own self conception. So I think it's very interesting to think about the ways in which other people are almost sort of you that I'm supposing or asserting other people like a source of self understanding for us. Mark: Would there be some juncture where you shouldn't grieve or where you have reached maximal knowledge, or is it the case that every relationship is unique?
