"We weren't rushing into this, assuming it was just going to be a marriage at the beginning," he says. "If this doesn't work, that doesn't mean a marriage doesn't work ... but like, if this does work, maybe it will." He and his wife have been together for eight years; they got married in 2012. They were sick of people asking about their relationship as boyfriends or girlfriends.
