Is There a Market for Carbon Offsets?
Large corporations are looking for ways to participate in a voluntary carbon offset market. They can pay some one else to reduce their own omissions, or invest in new technologies that can take carbon out of the atmosphere and sequester it. A lot of companies are making 20 50 commitments to net zero - but they don't actually match up with what is being promised. If you're to see the true cost of removing carbon from the air, look at direct air capture. It's basically worth the p r value.
