Are You Using the Floodlight in a Flashlight?
mindfulness is a way of making the mind that has to do with paying attention to our present moment. We use the breath as an anchor, not so much to control it, but just to observe what's going on. The practice would be something i, like you said, about a minute, start out with tand you could build up to about 12 minutes,. Focus that flashlight of your attention on the sensations of breathing. And then notice if your mind wanders away from those breath related sensations.
