Mister crane and mister churchman were coming back to palmer, bringing a representative from the family. They would be there next wednesday, and when they knew it was christmas eve, they still needed to meet with lonny that evening. At first, lanny had practically buzzed with excitement at the news. He had never met any of the barrers in person. If the information he relaid up the chain of command was important enough to bring one of em to palmer then perhaps he could parley this into the promotion he'd been hoping for.
