Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Commander
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children receives 26 million cyber-tips annually. In Utah, we're on track to see 4,000 of those tips in the next 12 months. Some tips come from individuals, but most come from social media companies. The Center then contacts local law enforcement, or the state's ICAC team who follow up on those tips.
