Is There a Temple in the Temple?
Matthew 18 is all about what it means to live in this new temple, and how we are called to a higher righteousness. Jesus establishes the temple as the church, and Christ is with us. And of course, the temple, going back to Deuteronomy, is the place where God makes His name dwell. That's where God's present.
