The Truth About Snowflakes

It's batshit to treat a random Twitter account and someone with a big house, a book deal and a staff job at the times as though they're equally powerful. People with platforms are used to one way broadcast, so no wonder the audience talking back feels like something akin to attempted murder. But perhaps there's been an over-correction on the part of leftists and progressives to claim that nothing's changed at all. That cancel culture doesn't exist or if it does, it's only a force for good. The boundaries between what's going on in the media, in the academy and online can get a bit blurred.
