The Argonauts Without Madea
Jason is by no means the hero of this play, but he would be well and dead many times over without her. Just as I said last week, the Argonauts would have been perfectly fucked without Madea. She saved him when he had to yoke the fire breathing bowls. He'd be a mess of blood and guts without her. But now he's bored and he's found someone more acceptable by the Greek standards. And so he's kicking her to the curb. It's an incredibly valid argument for Jason's general awfulness.
