The Death of Leleuie's Soup Kettle
The Dolphins' cannon had, in cold blood, taken the life of Leleuie's soup kettle. A perfectly good kettle of soup lost before its prime. That's not the sort of thing the Holy Roman Empire could accept. While there are some poorly sourced reports of Austrian soldiers breaking dikes and drowning Dutch civilians, the soup kettle is the only known official casualty.
