I'm interested to hear your thoughts on what would a steel man argument in favor of the kind of current approach to research ethics be? Right. So I've really launched into the kind of the case for the prosecution here, like all of the reasons that I'm very concerned about the way that research ethics is applied. There are smart people who design the system and there are smartPeople who defend it. And of course, it's a it's a bunch more complicated. But I just really do think that if we thought about this carefully... We could find a overbearing system that could keep these problems in check," he says.
