Is the Fed Waiting for the Bank to Fix the Problem?
On March 10th, 2023 Silicon Valley bank failed after a bank run marking the second largest bank failure in US history and the largest since the 2008 financial crisis. On CNN I saw a debate about the recent bank failures in that debate one side said this is serious because Silicon Valley bank is the 16th largest bank in the United States. The first bank to fail this month only two days before Silicon Valley failed was this cryptocurrency focused silver gate bank which is much smaller than either SBB or Signature was. We really do need an independent investigation.
