AI and the Drivers of Fundamental Change

When the pandemic hit, I kind of suddenly realized that a lot of what was happening was not related to the pandemic per se. The public and private institutions where the government's agencies, educational systems were increasingly ineffectual. And putting all that together basically, I sort of thought, wait a minute, this is a problem for the whole world. Fast forward to today, basically, events have shown that this is better to be thinking about the world as it really is rather than assuming it's controllable, linear and predictable.
