i think part of the reason that there is so much pain and trama surrounding our collective sexuality is because evolution is amoral. And because societies attempt to be mo right, as evolution is a moral, societies can't become civilized or organized unless they find ways to damp that down. So society's one of the prerequisites for civilizing a people was to create very, very strong taboos around this incredibly potent, lutionary and coded experience.
