Why Isn't Passive Cooling Used More?
The idea is that if you want to cool your home or office, your Moroccan hotel, whatever it is, do it as much as you can with these kinds of solutions. And then once you've exhausted all of that, and maybe it's still too hot, that's when you bring in the air conditioning to top it up. Architects and developers skip the passive cooling, and so the only option for people is to buy aircon. So why isn't passive cooling used more? I think it's inertia. The market has gotten used to building in a certain way,. It doesn't want to change anything. Why do anything different if the profit margins have been steady over the last 50 years
