Is Kafka a Database?
Kafka has captured a few enterprise architectures, some companies that have deployed sort of Kafka everywhere. But there's a lot that can go horribly wrong when you sort of use it in ways it's not meant to be used. So I think we will be on the path to success if we have some cohort of customers who don't even know what streaming is. That's really my hope. It's like bringing this new technology, bringing it in in the simplest way possible with a very concrete use case and then look for other things where it's going to be cool too.
