How Do You Choose a Team Member?
I love that question because so much of the answer ties into the team dynamics. When you've got one person that's making things miserable for the rest of the people on the team, it can make the climb feel much more physically challenging than it really is. I mean, recruiting mistakes are very costly. And you can't afford to make them when you're going on an expedition to a big Himalayan peak. So you want to find people who are the perfect mix of skill and experience, but who are also good team players.
