I think that being able to feel a range of emotions is very important because I think we live in a culture where we're either suppressing emotions or we're staying in certain negative emotions for too long. What you want to do is go to the low hanging fruit that's really important and not go straight into reaction. The ability to separate your responses in your mind enough to where you recognize what are the things like, it's like whenever a dog barks, they're not doing it because they're mad at you. They're barking to keep you back. They're scared. And we have a part of that inside of us.
