The Effects of Microneedles on the Skin

A patch with 361 individual tiny needles on it is used to monitor the blood pressure of a patient. These micro needles don't go deep enough to contact your nerves and importantly your blood vessels, so there's also no bleeding associated with this. The sensation described as like Velcro on the skin or a cat's tongue was more noticeable than the patch penetrating my skin. What we'd expect to pick up then would be some caffeine in your skin. Let's have a look at that and see if we can pick it up.
