The Importance of Trade-Offs in Economics
I think from an economic perspective immigration is the number one thing we could do for growth in our country by a large margin I don't think anything else comes close to it. The evidence is native-born Americans are much more likely to come up with new ideas and new discoveries when they're working with people from foreign countries that have come to the United States on the less skilled end of the spectrum. It's like almost unambiguously having more immigrants certainly skilled but I would actually personally say almost of all kinds would be a benefit to the economy in my view.
