philosophy is not meant to give people justification for what they did all the time even though it can that's the danger of consequentialism. It's meant to give you frameworks to investigate your own psychology to see if you retained your integrity in that moment. I have a lot of admiration on a personal level for what Wendy does at the end of that film. She rehomeed a dog after nine years and it was really hard and I did it too many years too late so the fact that Wendy could do it at theend of the film I admired her like I wish I knew her I wish I was like hey you did a great job there even though that's fucking hard to do
