Despite her shyness and claimed to hate the spotlight, cure was shameless when it came to fund raising for her beloved institutes. The first gram of radium she managed to collect went to france. She travelled extensively and attended countless engagements, including the white house. Now in her fifties, she was getting very sick. I suppose it's possible radium had something to do with my troubles, but it cannot be affirmed with certainty.
