The DPP Introducing This Now Is a Very Bad PR Move on Their Part

The DPP just lost not just one, but a whole string of elections to people who have actually been either convicted or involved in organized crime. This comes across as kind of a sour grate at a lot of their losses, and it looks like what they're trying to do is block these candidates that beat them from running again. So it's not necessarily a bad idea to bring this up, but their timing couldn't be worse, frankly.
