The Battle of Tulon
Europe is in the middle of a conflict. Allied armies bear down on france, through flanders and the rhineland. The british give military support by sea to the revolt in the vende cruceli with local royalist assistance. Tulon is not just any old place. Its e the headquarters for France's mediterranean fleet. It's taken over by rebels, who then hand over the keys,. if you like, of a city to the british. Now, napoleon bonaparte is despatched there as part of the military mission to oust the invaders.
