The Importance of Intuition in Teaching Buddhism

Buddhism is an inner journey, how are teachers able to judge where a student is in their path? That's a great question. I would say much of it has to do with intuition and just how a student is responding to particular instruction. And yes, there is something internal, but the internal is always reflected externally.
