i don't have any house keys on me at all. I just use the key pad, so fy if that thing dies, i don't have access to my house. The yale one i've got actually has two very discreet battery terminals on the bottom of the cape head. And you would just grab those nine fault nor little rectangle batteries. Once again, you need a battery on you Y just ow hold it against the keypad, and that will provide enough power to u allow you to open the door for a couple of times.
