The Importance of Lung Function Testing in Rheumatology
Most rheumatologists worldwide now have adopted serial pulmonary function testing to monitor long-standing Sclerodama patients for the insidious development of pulmonary hypertension. If you take a proactive approach and screen your patients with regular lung function tests and echocardiography, you pick up the diagnosis much sooner.
