Israeli Forces Stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem During Ramadan and Passover
Israeli forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, a revered holy site in Islam two times this week. Israeli police fired stun grenades and tear gas into the nearly thousand-year-old temple on Wednesday morning. The raid reportedly led to the injuries of at least 37 people and the arrests of more than 350 Palestinians inside the mosque. Later that evening, Israeli police stormed the mosque for a second time, deploying stun grenades and ordering worshipers to leave the mosque again. At least 12 people were injured in the second raid, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
