In the beginning, i'd say anywhere from 30 to forty % of my time was devoted to the national security portfolio. But russia ukrane has become one of the primary responsibilities that i have,. thinking through not only what wed do in the united states, but how we can coordinate with our international counterparts. The most important thing the president asked us to do in november, when we started to see russian troops build up, was to go out and have conversations with our allies and partners.
