The average iowa cornfield has a potential to deliver more than fifteen million calories per acre each year. But with te current application of corn to ethenal and animal production, we end up with an estimated three million calories of food per acre. This is lower than the average delive of food calories from farms in bengledash, egypt and viena. So instead of just directly eating what's grown, we basically run it through the body of an animal and eat that animal. And incredible amount of calories are wasted in the process....
