I just don't see how Europe can get away from using Russian gas. Methane is in a short term, it's worse than coal. Will countries go to war over energy? Is a question that I'm trying to think of all the wars that happened. It does seem that individually each country can end and answer its needs by building. And up until now, we haven't had conflict except for Russia supplying Europe.
