Is the Word of God Insufficient to Enable a Fallen Man to Respond to Its Appeal?

There is no scripture passage which in any way teaches that the gospel is not sufficient to enable those who hear it to respond to its appeal. I do not believe it is biblically supported doctrine. Neither one are attainable by man. Both of em are unattainable, is their claim. But the scripture never makes that claim. Matter of fact, it's very clear just the opposite. And so yes, there is an absolute truth within scripture that we cannot attain righteousness by works, through law.
