The Importance of Unity in Life

For me it's easier to access the idea of unity through duty and responsibility, rather than the hedonic pursuit of the appetites. It feels like that detached, enlightened feeling that you're striving for always to not let yourself get dragged into the worst things of life. That's also kind of it odds a little bit with being a father because being a father is very attached. They say God has no grandchildren, that they have their connection with God, I have my connection with God for the one, the unity. So of course I'm attached to them.
