The Global Response to the Green New Deal
I think there is a broad consensus that we will have to take strong actions to preserve our planet. There are also actions going on at many different levels. I'm involved in, as an expert, witness in a litigation in federal court being brought by 21 young children who say their basic constitutional rights are being put in jeopardy because of climate change. One of the children lives on an island that will be submerged by rising sea levels. And one of them lives on a farm where increasing temperatures is making the crops that they've been growing unviable. So each of these kids is being affected in a very, very real way.
